Omg I haven't even been anywhere yet and Thought Bubble is already the best place ever. People dressed as comic characters all over the place.... Robo said when he came with Amber she spent the whole time pointing out the characters based on her dad's work. This is awesome.

Wowser. A friend of mine is at a con in Preston this weekend to meet the guy who played Xander in Buffy. I don't have time to go into full details but he borderline-assaulted her last night at the venue. She said he shouted at her for talking to someone who wasn't him which made her have a panic attack and he made her sit on his knee to calm to her down (it didn't of course) and that she could only breath when he told her to. Then he was asking her if her parents are dead and then made a rape joke which made her gasp and he berated her for breathing without his permission. She's absolutely traumatised and is supposed to be doing meet and greets and pictures with him today but is almost too scared to see him again.
The guy is infamous for having alcohol problems and being obnoxious when drunk but wtf

Sooooo I'm off to Leeds tomorrow and Sunday for the Thought Bubble festival. I'm so nervous, though I think it's because I'm just not familiar with the setup (I always get anxious when I can't picture where I'll be... I'm the same at Download until I've pitched my tent). I'll be submitting my portfoluo for the 2000AD comp on Saturday and then the judging panel of the finalists is the next day.... fingers crossed.
I'm hoping to network with my new business cards so I'll have to leave my introvert side at home!

Yeah, I don't know if Lyft is a thing over here yet as I never use taxis or any sort but that's the common alternative that my friends in the states use.
James, you reminded me of a friend who had a pet guinea pig a few years back and she kind of had the opposite problem... I forget what happened but for some reason it couldn't pass it's leavings without help as it got older and so she literally had to put gloves on, go in up its bum and fish the poo out every night. She was a bit relieved when it finally died.

It is amazing how often people think that. The one I use to get the most was asking how long it took me to do that to my hair every day 🤔
Re-bleaching today. My hair has grown out by an inch or so since my last trim so my little blonde tips look like they need extending a bit. I look like I just leaned a bit too close over a jar of peanut butter, right now. ;p

I was going to try and come up with some grand scheme that involved all of those things happening being connected to make you laugh but realised it might be a bit insensitive.... anyway, we all know depression isn't real. Parp!
Man, I am so fucking happy to hear that Uber lost their license in London. Absolute piece-of-shit company. At least I don't have to be that awkward guy in a group who refuses to get one anymore ha.
