SketchyMagpie, ah yes, the towel thing. I can't remember the type of bird my friend had. it was something like this. oh, yeah "harsher" although not the word I would have chosen...didn't really have a word but...no, you have a very nice voice! Very calming.
hehe co-own the site. Yeah man!
nah, I feel I've "hijacked" this site! I can't stop. Guys, I'm afraid I have a problem! I'm not getting anything done! I just walked out the door to check the mail and it's cold but it's like beautiful out. I'm missing it! and not to mention, nothing is getting done here...I'm just like in heaven in this community though. You guys are all the awesome-est!!
alethionaut, but the "Zzz" would be like Italian right? I mean, how they say it? (I'm imagining Ezzio (sp?) from Assasin's Creed and/or pizza) so like "ts"
Yay Paul, found the video! You and Charlie are so sweet.
That is a very good looking length on you! A whole lot shorter than it is now, though.
(And your 50 facts reminded me of having to out myself as straight to my mother.... she had sort of assumed, because I never had anything resembling a boyfriend, that I was gay but didn't dare to tell her. No mum, not gay, just sad and lonely! )
Well Charlie can't fly and he's so attached to me that he never goes to anyone else. You can get him on your finger but he doesn't want to stay there for long lol.
I forget if I've posted this vid to you already or not so sorry if it's a repeat, but how can you be scared of this little fella heh.
(this is from 2012 btw)
Paul your videos with him are so damn adorable. Your connection with him is great. I was actually laughing because of how you addressed the fact of not wanting to be distracted but couldnt go a mere 15 seconds without interacting with him. It was great. Haha
25. Like an unusual of DT members I have Synesthesia. I see numbers, names, months and days of the week in colour. I also perceive time in linear. I can also do mental arithmetic really well because I see and sense numbers and sums...if that makes sense...
I think my world just shifted a bit! This has been me my whole life, but I never knew it was a "thing" let alone something others experienced... clearly I live under a very large rock! Just a few days ago I was actually mentally cataloging (I'm a weirdo) the colors I see for the weekdays and months and also how I visualize them as a whole, for instance the weekdays are actually laid out like a half circle with Saturday and Sunday along the flat edge and they are both shades of pink.

danzia yep I know what you mean. Touch especially for me. With a lot of clothes/materials it's as though I need to feel them to understand them. Also an amazing feeling to find songs/music that "wash over" and consume you, as if it's absorbed through your skin, powerful stuff.

chesh: Hey rye, under the "Dreadlock FAQ" >>> "The Basics" there is information on washing on the bottom. In my experience so far it has been best to wash my dreads when they get itchy and use a dry shampoo to help with the oils that are produced naturally.

SketchyMagpie: Hey. It differs on hair type but generally speaking, you can lose up to between 25-50% of the length. Most people will be around the 25%-35% mark, ish.

FriendlyGoblin: Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting dreadlocks and I was wondering how much they'd shrink. I have medium-thick hair that is decently damaged and is 20" thick from scalp to tip. I'm also white. I'm thinking of getting them so they're life sized ruler
