I have a big problem with my dreads. They are thinning everywhere, in the front of my head I have about 10 locks who got pretty small. The rest of the head also lost nearly half there size. I have locks now for 14 years and never had this happen before. I did get rid of head lice 2 years ago and they recovered fine. The only thing i changed in my livestyle is that i moved to Australia, i go surfing alot and stopped eating meat. Does anyone may have an idea how i can stop my dreads from going shorter and shoter all the time or could possiple know the reason. Is that the water exposure, or my age (30) or the hot Australian sun.
If anyone has a good idea for a treatment please let me know.
Something I ran into when I was vegetarian was lack of gelatin in my diet (for obvious reasons) and of course for me that meant I wasn't getting all the amino acids I needed. Take a look at your diet and make sure you haven't overlooked something small like that. And keep in mind everyone's body is different.
