Thanks, James. I've been distracted by life! I made an appointment today for my first ever professional dreadlock maintenance session, and it made me think of dreadlocktruth and realize I missed the place. I refer people here all the time, but haven't been on the internet as a whole much for a while.
People all shuffling around and leave. The heart of the site remains. It's still your site. New folk needing advice etc. You know there is a Facebook DT. That's a whole different world. Makes me want to vanish. Too much It is nice to have the ol' faces returning. So treat it like a log fire.
Thank you! I'll get a few good before and after pictures of my first maintenance session at the end of this month. I'm excited to be going to a professional. I do have say that "those loose hairs will sort themselves out" has not been the case for me. They aren't a terrible mess, but I look forward to a couple of months of, well, that salon dread look.
Great to see an update. The hair still looks fantastic! I'm also finding my favourite one is one of my fattest locs, so congos abound right now. If I'd realised exactly how skinny a thin lock would get I might have sectioned for larger at the start.
