Bravo!! 1st: Loved the socks 2nd: Super loved the dramatic entrance to the kitchen with Running with the devil in the background!! So cute to think of a British guy blasting Van Halen... I'm not quite sure why because we eat your music up like candy. Hopefully you are a Roth over Hagar fan, or did Alice Cooper pick that one out? Thank you for sharing
Every house I've been in I'm a kitchen dweller. I have comfy chairs in another room. At parties ( not that I get to any ever nowadays) but I'll be in the kitchen. I might get some proper furniture one day instead of junk. I've got some antique chairs to paint and a wobbly dining table I need. I only have two chairs that don't fall apart. So I'm not host ready yet.
So back to the point of the thread. I don't want to get to many homely things yet until I ever feel at home. Most my stuff you could throw in the trash. I was pleased with the sofa I found and the desk I got off a refurb place. But all I have is not me. Except the plants and candles and music. Last year moving home I filled a big van with stuff. I don't want any of it. I thought I'd got rid of loads the last move before. But you need basic stuff for next move. Bed, chairs, kitchen things, art stuff etc. I often dream of living out a backpack.
