I keep waking up feeling miserable, I think this is because the next thing I really have to look forward to is going to Cornwall for my birthday and even that's tainted by the fact I'm moving back home.

Hmm, bit of a life update for you all. The dreads are gone :-(, which is pretty sad but I am quite enjoying being able to do more styles with my hair. I think I regret it a bit but it certainly won't...
